I'm not sufficiently acquainted with the details of this case to offer a meaningful opinion on the veracity of Gregory Gabrenya's claims; based on personal experience, however, I can categorically state that U.S. reliance on suppliers of militarily-significant hardware and software who outsource to countries such as China, Pakistan, India, etc., is a clear and present danger to the security of the United States.
And this trend is accelerating.
If hostilities were to break out between the U.S. and China - or North Korea, or a nuclear-armed Iran - tomorrow, the consequences of this stupid, short-sighted, willful ignorance on the part of the defense acquistions bureaucracy, coupled with the venality of American business leaders, might well prove a military disaster in the making.
